Tonight in class we watched the second half of the class present their ADDIE presentations. Everyone was very explicit and it was fun to see different units from other grades. I really liked how everyone in class included their scope and sequence and broke their units up into days.
We had a break out session where we learned about some fun apps. I went to the cloud on app presentation. This will be a great app for storage of documents. The other presentation that I went to was the Infuse Learning presentation. This is a great assessment app. I plan on using this next year when I move up to the middle school, and will need to
Tonight in class we had presentations on our thematic units and our experience with the ADDIE design process. It was fun to see my colleagues and their takes on the ADDIE process. The thematic units were subject varied and it was nice to see how secondary teachers did their thematic units.
After the class break we broke off into groups and learned about apps. I went to the explain everything app with Lindsi. This app is awesome! I plan on using it in my teaching. I like the show me app for student use. It is nice that it records the process. I am going to use this when I review for end of level testing. Long division and multiplication will be a great thing to access with this app.
This is our second to last class, and it has been fun to see what the other teachers have been doing in their classrooms. It is nice to get a glimpse of their thematic units and to get an idea of what they do int their classrooms. It was also interesting to get the take on the ADDIE model and hear how they feel about the process.
